The Rev. Roger Grist With deep roots in the Episcopal/Anglican renewal movement and with both a heart for and experience in ministry to young and old, The Rev. Dr. Roger Grist integrates enthusiasm and practicality in ministry to others.

Having served in all sizes of churches he has become aware of what challenges face the local church and beyond. He has been trained in small group ministry, giving him the ability to relate personally with individuals. He is also ministering to larger numbers as the current Rector of St. Anne's Church.
Fr. Grist has devoted much time to the study of the early church and the Bible. He is known for his Bible teaching and proficiency in the area of Christian apologetics. He is a regional director of the worldwide Alpha Course and is deeply committed to seeing people come to Christ and then to grow in their faith. He is deeply committed to prayer and ministry to the needs of others, as evidenced by the Sunday morning prayer ministry, the weekly Word-Watch prayer meetings and the Prayer Chain he established here at St. Anne's. He has served as an adjunct faculty member of the Acts 29 Ministries.
Roger Grist is married to Nancy and they have two daughters. He attended Texas Tech University where he received a BA in Journalism in 1974. After earning an MDIV from American Christian Theological seminary in Southern California in 1978, he did further study at The Church Divinity School of the Pacific.
He received a Doctor or Ministry degree from the Northwest Graduate School for the Ministry (now Bakke Graduate University) in 2001.
Fr. Roger Grist brings a contagious enthusiasm to churches, conferences, youth gatherings, and special engagements—leading others to a greater confidence in God through Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit. He is currently the Rector of the parish of Saint Anne's, a Church in the Anglican tradition, located at 6055 Azle Ave. in Fort Worth, TX.
